Marion County is located in eastern Tennessee and home to a wide variety of industry including large nationally acclaimed companies and small family-owned industries. Products manufactured are sold in markets all over the United States and abroad. Lodge Manufacturing is the oldest and one of the largest manufacturers in Marion. Founded in 1896, Lodge is the only maker of cast iron cookware in the United States and is still owned and operated by the Lodge family.

The Nickajack Industrial Site and Port is located just off TN Hwy. 156, only 6 miles from I-24, and has direct access to the Tennessee River. The site has over 90 acres of land available for industrial development, all utilities are readily available, and has both river and rail access. Marion County is part of the 11-county Foreign Trade Zone 134.
